Hush Now
Hush Now
During my devotional time, I found some passages I wanted to share. I’ll write more about this on my website https://fabricthatmademe.com/. I hope you’ll take a few moments and come on over to read on. These sweet and humbling devotions have touched me because they meet all of us right here and now. These Holy words give life, meaning, and direction to the lives we live each day. They are the fabric of what connects us and protects us.
SkellyπIn my prayer time, I was given some questions to sit with. I will leave you with them as well to meditate over.
- What areas of your life do you tend to be prideful about?
- What is one area (or thing in) of your life you could submit to God and walk more humbly?
- What is God speaking to YOU about taming your tongue?
- How are you representing God with your speech?

Don’t Be Foolish| Be quite Fool
We have one mouth and two ears for a reason, yet we sure like to yap. We are consumers with ourselves. Unnecessary noise comes out of our faces so often that we miss important details. We have become clowns putting on a showing… hoping to be liked and loved by this world and others that are just as fake. We listen only to the rambling of our own fabrications. We see only the fictional character that we present to the world. But behind closed doors, when we are alone… the veil is pulled away.
You live for the world-sk
Do you feel empty? Lost? Does a strange feeling come over you when you sit alone at the end of your day? Do you ever feel guilty, shameful even? I know you try to keep busy to keep this feeling at bay.
Your authenticity is there… suffocating under all your falsehoods. You think you hide it well, but your insecurity screams like a banshee. This only reminds me- Even more lordly, I don’t live for the world, for I am not of this world.

Not Worry
Is anyone else feeling a little overwhelmed? Is the world crushing you? I have had a little of that. Mostly I just feel out of place. As I told my husband, I feel like a square in a circle world. I truly do. But God made this square and all its weird miss-shaped corners. Here I am, people, all banged up. I am learning to love myself the way I am every day, and some days are easier… or harder than others. π€

I Pray It’s Always You Lord
Lord, Father God, I thank You for your ever-present love, mercy, and grace in my life and in protection over my family. I pray You will always keep me fixed on YOU through the noise, the toxic people trying to pull us away from You. Help us to remember your Love. Keep us close.
Amen.

Give Thanks
As we enter Thanksgiving week let us remember that all good things come from the Heavens above. We offer back to God what He gives to us. As you sit around the table with your family and friends, be overwhelmed with gratefulness for the mercies, the provisions, and the goodness, in all parts of your life that God has blessed upon you. Because even on the dark days, the hard days, He never break promise, never leaves your side. His love for you is eternal, forever.
1 Chronicles 29:10-22 & 1 John 4:16-17
And, not just there.
In my heart... I know.
You know youβre not alone.
God made us all for another world, so we're not supposed to fit in here. I know the feeling.
I would love to know the history of those doors! Such a beautiful poem that is the true meaning of…
